As a part of process improvement and to address known and ongoing issues with the ePost Connect platform, Health Canada will be transitioning to a new platform called LiquidFiles for all Site Licensing Applications and its correspondences.
As of May 1, 2026, site licence applications are no longer accepted through ePost Connect. The Industry Stakeholders are requested to use the LiquidFiles securely encrypted portal to submit its site licence application, amendment, notification or renewal package to the Health Products Compliance Directorate (HPCD). Once the submission is received by Health Canada, an automatic receipt will be sent.
Note: NHP Product License applications are not impacted.
How to submit a SL submission via LiquidFiles
All SL submissions must be submitted here:
- Site Licence Submission Gateway: LiquidFiles
What it means to the Industry: ✔️ Faster large-file submissions ✔️ Improved security & reliability ✔️ New workflow requirements for RA teams ✔️ No Trading Partner Agreements for Site License Applications As of March 30, 2026 no need to have Trading Partner Agreements for Site License Applications. However, this does not apply to NHP product licences.
Don’t overlook this: If your SOPs and teams are not updated, you risk missed communications and compliance gaps.
Action needed now:
- Update SOPs
- Train teams
- Validate submission workflows
